Blackwater Hollow is built on the unmistakable chemistry of Nathan Coots and Hannah Wheeler. Rooted in Kentucky and grounded in family, faith, and hard work, the duo blends rich harmonies with an effortless mix of traditional country, outlaw, Southern rock and classic favorites. Whether they’re delivering the twang of old country standard or the power of a rock anthem, Nathan and Hannah bring genuine talent, humor, and heart to every stage, creating the kind of connection with the audiences that feels less like a performance and more like an evening spent with old friends.

Hannah Wheeler is a country singer-songwriter whose unmistakable voice and magnetic stage presence have earned her a reputation as one of the region’s most engaging performers. Audiences often describe her as a “firecracker” on stage thanks to her quick wit, infectious humor, and ability to connect with every crowd. Her vocals have been praised as soulful, one of a kind, “totally awesome,” and “in a league of her own.”

Hannah’s passion for music began at just nine years old when she auditioned for her elementary school chorus. That early love of performing grew into a career spanning stages across much of the East Coast, where she has entertained audiences at fairs, festivals, casinos, theaters, concert venues, and community events. Along the way, she has built an extensive catalog of original country music, earning recognition for her authentic storytelling and heartfelt songwriting.

Most recently, Hannah has had the honor of serving as direct support for David Adam Byrnes, known for his hit “Keep Up with the Cowgirl,” and Grand Ole Opry member and award-winning country artist Mark Wills. She has independently released several original projects, including her newest EP, Second Hand Songs, released this year.

Whether performing for an intimate hometown audience or a packed festival crowd, Hannah brings authenticity, humor, and a voice that leaves a lasting impression long after the final note. Every performance is a reflection of the passion that first brought her to the stage as a nine-year-old—and the joy she still finds in sharing country music with every audience she meets.

Whether he’s singing a traditional country ballad, an outlaw anthem, Southern rock, or one of his own original songs, Nathan brings authenticity, grit, and a natural stage presence that immediately connects with audiences. Off stage, he’s known for his easygoing personality, strong work ethic, and deep devotion to family.
